Canadian Breeders of Arabians with Russian Bloodlines

Anoryk 'Ricky' July 2010
Arabian horses have been prized in Russia for many years. In 1889 Count Stroganov started a stud in the Northern Caucasus, this stud is now known as the Tersk Stud. During the Civil War (1917-1920) all of the stud's stock was lost. After the war, to rebuild the stud, Russia gathered some of the world's finest pure-blood Arabian breeding stock from Hungary, France, England, Poland and Germany. From these imports they developed the Modern 'Russian Arabian' breeding program.
"So top horsemen were sent out from Russia to select Arabian breeding stock that coupled type with endurance and athletic capabilities."
~ Dr. Dee B. Whittlesey, The Dam Lines of Tersk
At Anoryk Russian Arabians (ARA) we have gathered together a group of horses that are descended from the Tersk Stud's fine collection.
If you are looking for an athletic horse with a good mind and of course the traditional Arabian beauty; we have the horse you.
We offer Straight Russian Arabian horses for sale as well as the stud services of MM Per Cent, Straight Russian Stallion from MM Ranch (California)
"Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride,
Friendship without envy,
Or beauty without vanity?
Here, where grace is served with muscle
And strength by gentleness confined
He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity.
There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent.
There is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.
All our history is in his industry.
We are his heirs, he our inheritance."
~ Ronald Duncan, "The Horse," 1954
