When we answered the ad in the Western Producer for a 'Russian Arabian Stallion' for sale we didn't really know what to expect. We knew we wanted an Arabian stallion but knew nothing about the 'Russian' bloodlines.
Ricky went by with his floating trot and his tail held high; as soon as we saw him we knew he was coming home with us. Initially Ricky's beauty is what got our attention, once we really got to know him his great attitude convinced us we'd made the right choice.
Ricky's great feet and legs, beautiful neck, large kind eyes and good attitude pass on to his foals; they tend to have his gentleness and are easily trained. We consider ourselves fortunate that at 27 years old Ricky is still with us.
